May - a beautiful month for blossom, expansions and new energies

The Gaura-Gandharvika-Govinda-Sundaram Mandir in Berlin was offering us great moments in which we learned from the Great Souls, from the Scriptures, from living together with Devotees and from spiritual life in the material world. Bhakti Raksaka Swami Maharaj still enriched us with his morning and evening classes. For example, he was sharing with us the ninth text out of the 10th Chapter of the Bhagavat-Gita As It Is:

mac-cittä mad-gata-präëä

bodhayantaù parasparam

kathayantaç ca mäà nityaà

tuñyanti ca ramanti ca

"The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are fully devoted

to My service, and they derive great satisfaction and bliss from always

enlightening one another and conversing about Me."

Harijan Maharaj Appearance Day

On May, 16th 2014, we celebrated the Appearance Day of Srila Bhakti Vimala Harijan Maharaj - he was the first Spiritual Master of Columbia, and a close friend of Srila B.A. Paramadvaiti Swami. Prabhu Antartwip who is a disciple of Harijan Maharaj was offering us a beautiful program with Bhajan, Lecture, Kirtan and delicious Prasad. Jay! What a blessing to get the nectar of Great Souls like Harijan Maharaj.

Impressions

The other days in May were filled with Sankirtan, Caterings with Prasadam, a demonstration against Monsanto for which we prepared seed bombs, nice programs in the temple, and each other´s inspirations. Also, we have nectar from the Easter Mela online:

Impressions from Berlin Yatra with B.R.Swami Maharaj

Jay! We still have the mercy of having a Swami with us - B.R. Swami Maharaj brings us closer and back to the roots of life: The way back to Godhead.

Every morning he gives lectures filled with the sweetest nectar of Krsna Lilas and instructions for our daily life. He reads from the book "Harinama Cintamini" from Bhaktivinoda Thakur.

Some lines from of it:

"The holy name is so potent that chanting does not dependent

on conditions of time, place, rules, cleanliness, and so on.

Pious activities, such as the giving of charity, the performance

of sacrifices, the taking of ablutions, or the recitation of

Vedic mantras are all regulated by stringent rules.  But for the

chanting of the holy name, the only prerequisite is faith.  One

who takes shelter of the holy name with unflinching faith will

attain all perfection." (Chapter II)

Moreover, Swami Maharaj enriches our Sunday Festival with sweet lectures and loping Bhajans as well as ecstatic Kirtans.

Also, on Narasimha Caturdasi we had a nice festival with Bhajan, Lecture, Arati, Kirtan and Prasadam. Sri Narasimha, ki jay!

As Maharaj said in the Lecture at Narasimha´s Appearance Day: "With Krsna everything is perfect because Krsna makes everything perfect."

Fest zum Erscheinungstag von Harijan Swami

Liebe Freunde und Devotees,

wir laden euch herzlich zum Erscheinungstag von Srila Bhakti Vimala Harijan Maharaj ein. Er war der erste spirituelle Meisters Kolumbiens und inniger Freund von Srila B.A. Paramadvaiti Swami.

Das Fest wird am Freitag, den 16.05., um 17:00 Uhr in unserem Hindutempel "Vrinda Kunja" stattfinden.

Der Ablauf an diesem Abend wird wie folgt sein:
