7 European WVA Meeting

The 7th  European WVA Meeting took place in Pula, Croatia under the shelter of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath. 

Our dear host Srila Bhakti Aloka Tapasvi Maharaj welcomed all of us with Kirtan and Prasadam. Everybody felt very happy accommodated in this meeting.BR Swami Maharaj atend also the meeting,he is doing a big service for Guru Maharaj in Mexico yatra as a temple president.We could have his darshan in his shortly visit to Europe.

         Also special guest Mother Urmila d.d. from Iskcon attended the meeting. 

After the senior members gave as small introduction the following points were discussed:

-          The Vaisnava responsibility in front of the environmental crisis

-          How we can help the Yamuna cleaning and restoration of the sacred Vrindavan

-          Helping to increase Vaisnava cooperation and understanding

-          Caring for the image of Vaisnavism in Europe

-          Children education – presentation of new materials

Representative Devotees of not less than 10 different Vaisnava groups took part in the discussions about how to serve together the many common causes of our great Vaisnava family.

And after all ecstatic Harinam Sankirtan.

And after of course Prasadam Seva was revealed to us in his beautiful form of Pizza….  
On the back you can see Balabhadra prabhu,who was so mercyful to share with us this report and to countinue serving all the vaishnavas with a big smile.

Everybody was very happy and enjoyed the association of so many wonderful preachers of the Lord.

To share new ideas of preaching, to exchange new material and to get a bigger picture of the Vaisnava family was the idea of this meeting and it was a full success.
On the picture you can also see Bhakti Abhay Sridhar Maharaj,who recently took shelter and sanyasi vesa from Guru Deva in the 16 mela in Nanda falva,Hungary.His name was Uttama Bhakti prabhu, initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada and first pioneer preaching person in Poland.

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura disappearance day

Today, Sunday, July 11, 2010, is the disappearance day of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur an Acharya in our Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya.

In his final years, he performed intense nirjan bhajan (secluded worship) at Surabi Kunj in Navadwip, Bhakti Kuti in Puri, and also at Bhakti Bhavan in Calcutta where he disappeared in 1914 when he was 76 years old.

The Pranama Mantra of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur is:

namo Bhaktivinodaäya

sac-cid-änanda-nämine

gaura-çakti-svarüpäya

rüpänuga-varäya te

“I offer my respectful obeisances unto Saccidänanda Bhaktivinoda,

who is transcendental energy of Caitanya Mahäprabhu.

He is a strict follower of the Gosvämés, headed by Çréla Rüpa.”

On this auspicious day we pray to Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur to bless us to take the movement Lord Chaitanya seriously and also assist in spreading this movement more and more by which every one of us can become blissful and the whole world can be united.

Hello,here is coming again our monthly plan with activities for the month of JUNE.We had some visit from Sri Baba Brajraj Sharan Ji Maharaj from Varsana,traveling around the world to distribute the message of protecting the braj boomi and singing the names of Radharani....,intersting seminar for healing emotions with natural eteric oils with our friend Rojer,Astanga yoga course with Vrajendra prabhu-every monday 19,30,Upadesamrita seminar every thursday  19,30 with Vamsi Vadana prabhu,16-wednesday-Indian night fest with a beautiful program : fire ceremony,live music with mantra singing,indian dance and delicious vegetarian food.....just come and join us and bring your smile :)

Haribol dear Devotees, we like to share with You the last adventure from the vegetarian club in Berlin.

The desire to distribute the message of love and compassion through all the world and to everybody, the soldiers from the spoonrevolution came to the biggest Wave Gothic festival worldwide.

More than 40.000 people met there to enjoy Krishnas material energies but there was one thing they could not resist. The Love of the devotees, and the sweet taste of Mahaprasadam in many different forms.

Especially when the mercy comes in form of Mangolassi

Many of them are vegetarians and interested in spirituality

But also in many other things

Sri Giriraj and Sri Sri Gour Nitai in their preaching mood. Everybody became purified and finally, who knows…

All so kind souls, on the search for the real beauty, Sri Krishna

Finally everybody agreed that the food, that had been tasted by the highest personality of godhead was the best and most delicious food on the place and the servitors the sweetest and most charming people.

It’s such a great happiness to be somehow useful in Sri Krishnas plan to save all his lost servants. By the mercy of his devotees we survive and grow.

  

We were also invited for the round table of the campaign “Goth for Earth”, where different artists, organizer of festivals, political and business people came together, to find solutions how to make the party people more aware for mother nature’s suffering and how to help the environment especially on such big parties. And that a big step to it, would be an only vegetarian catering was presented by the devotees and nobody could argue about that argument considering intelligence and taste.

This four amazing personalities,servants of the Lord,Yashoda,Gopal,Bali and Govinda,are distributing the mercy of the prasadam in many big festivals,fairs and open airs all over Germany and Europe.Their project is called Ayur catering and we will share more about it in some of the next posts.

Berlin-sacred places / Berlin-sakrale orte

In the world many times are happening amazing things.One of them this days is the book "Berlin - sakrale orte",which gives information about the different churches and temples in Berlin,many beautiful pictures and a little text for more clearness for the readers.Amongst all old  and neu monuments of human faith,there are two pages for our Vrinda center in Germany :) They are different chapters with a bit hystorical touch.We are in the chapter "The new millennium".:)This publication makes us very happy:)! That the autors of the book considered the present of Gandharvika Govinda Sundaram as important and sacred for this big city of many interests.

Prema Kishor,our dear and transcendental pujari,who is a great example for humbleness and devotion :)

In the text they are mentioning our adress,that we have a vegetarian club where people can come daily for a meal.They wrote that we are following the teachings of the Gaudiya-Vaishnavism,a monoteistic part of the Hinduism.That we believe in one God who can appear in different forms,that´s why one can see different deities of God,They wrote about our dear Guru Deva,the Spiritual Leader of the comunity and about his incredible and mercyful tours around the world,in which he doesn´t stay on one place longer than a week.Little info about the Guru parampara and their pictures in the temple room.At last is explained about the daily rhythm in the Radha-Krsna temple,starting from 05.00 AM ,including a lot of offerings and ceremonies for the deities on the oltar.Written are also the names of Bhakti Raksaka Swami Maharaj and Govinda Thaler,who are praying with mantras to the deities,as we can see on one of  the pictures.

The Earth Day-Day of Mother Bhumi

 Today is The World Day of The Earth.Worldwide there are many actions conected with protecting the mother nature and the animals.From the vedic culture we know Mother Eart as Mother Bhumi.She always takes care for us and provides us so many gifts of mercy that we can survive in our existense back to home,back to Godhead.Let´s keep her in our prayers today and express our thankfulness for all her mercy,for all her service to the Lord :)And of course to don´t forget her in our daily life ,taking care and being responsable for our consuming and poluting...Just as our beloved Paramadvaiti Maharaj is teaching us......

Appearance day of some of our treasures

Today is a special day,in which appeared our dear friend ,pujari and a great spirit keeper in Kurukshetra-Prema Kishor!!!KI JAY We all have the mercy to live with him and this is an incredible expirience!Let´s be thankful to Krsna for this mercy and hopefuly we can take a good notes from that!Thank you,Prema,we love you so much!!!

 Also Guru deva is here today,he was in a short visit to our country project in Mewegen and soon he is coming for an evening program!!!Tomorow he will visit our friends in Nimai Huset-Sweeden.
